Congratulations to Catoctin High School who finished first out of the 14 teams participating in the county Envirothon. The Envirothon is sponsored by the Catoctin and Frederick Soil Conservation Districts aided by local sponsors New Market Lions, Burkittsville Ruritan, Wolfsville Ruritan, Jefferson Ruritan, Jumbo’s Pumpkin Patch, Johnsville Ruritan, and South Mountain Creamery. The winning team will represent Frederick County at the State Envirothon to be held June 15-16 at Camp Pecometh in Queen Anne’s County.
