Join the Catoctin & Frederick Soil Conservation Districts in conjunction with the Frederick County Farm Bureau on February 5, 2020 at the Great Frederick Fair Grounds, Building 9 for our workshop, Cover Cropping 2.0. Learn about the innovations of advanced cover cropping from the pioneer himself, Steve Groff – who has been “The Trusted Voice of Cover Crop Innovation & Education for Over 25 Years.” Mr. Groff will cover topics that include, but not limited to: cover crop mixes, benefits, and finances, as well as a small segment on the rising hemp industry. During lunch and breaks take some time to browse through booths from local agricultural companies.
Registration starts at 8:30 am with breakfast snacks and coffee provided.
The program will run from 9:00 am to 2:45 pm with lunch provided. Nutrient Management and CCA credits available.
