Scholarship applications

The Frederick Soil Conservation District is accepting applications for the George Nicholson, Sr. Memorial Scholarship through April 15, 2016.  The scholarship is available to qualifying students interested in pursuing a career in renewable natural resources, land use or conservation.  One or  more $500 scholarships will be awarded. nicholson_application_16

Local EQIP funding available

Please contact the  District office for details or to make an appointment to discuss an application for funds allocated to Frederick County for installation of best management practices identified by the local working group to address specific, prioritized resource concerns.  Applications accepted between November 16 and December 16, 2015.
