The 2018 Frederick County Envirothon was held on Tuesday, April 24 at Cunningham Falls State Park with 13 teams participating representing 7 Frederick County high schools. The winning team hailed from Catoctin High School and finished first in each of the five categories of the contest as well in their decisive victory over the second place team who also came from Catoctin High School. The team from Tuscarora High School finished in third place. The three winning teams received framed wildlife prints provided by the Districts. The winning team will represent Frederick County in the State competition to be held June 14-15 in Garrett County. Congratulations to the winning teams and to all the participants!
