Congratulations to Ron and Bonnie Albaugh of Rocky Ridge on attaining Certified status under the Maryland Agricultural Certainty Program. The Albaughs had their farm evaluated and it exceeds standards for nutrient runoff. They are the first Certified Farm in Frederick County and the second in the state of Maryland to achieve this recognition. Presenting the sign and a citation from the Maryland Department of Agriculture is Secretary of Agriculture Joe Bartenfelder and Associate Secretary Hans Schmidt. The Albaughs also received citations from Frederick County Executive Jan Gardner and MD Senator Michael Hough.
